Edward Cufflin was born in 1899 and was the son of Alfred Cufflin and Louisa Hughes of Anstey. He was a 3rd Cousin to Samuel and William (below).

Gilbert Cufflin was one of the London Cufflins born in Bromley in 1889 and was the son of Lyndley Shirt/Cufflin and Harriett Young of Battersea. He was married to Elsie Olley in 1913 and they had a son, Laurie Gilbert Olley Cufflin who was born in 1914.

Samuel was the son of Samuel and Emma Cufflin and was born in 1882. He was married to Annie Laws Braden and they had two children: Hilda Mary Cufflin 1912-1986 and David Braden Cufflin 1914-2001. He had previously served in the Africa Campaign from 1899 to 1902
